Descent Raids 7-11 Server Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

Descent's goal is to be one of the top alliance progression guilds on Detheroc. We raid hard, we raid quickly, and we raid while having fun. Our vent is somewhat loud as our GM has a no silence policy. From time to time Descent is in need of new players, we have a very tight knit group, but every now and then we are willing to disrupt that to improve our raids. So take a look around or just look us up online. See you all ingame as we make our pursuit at the downfall of the Lich King.

I think I killed one boss with group 1 throughout there last few months, but even in that short amount of time, there was no doubt the goals they set for themselves would be made. This group sacrificed a great deal of time and effort, and all the hard work has def paid off. To all the guys and Gal from group 1 I can't say enough about name you help to give Descent, and that I know there is only more great things to come from you in the future. Thanks for your Dedication

Well all it took was 117 wipes 18hrs and we got our kill. In all 90% of our wipes occurred in phase 1 over 4 different days. On our 5th day of attempts we changed our position and strategy thanks to some work by Earthlas and our 10 man group and phase 1 was never a problem again. Once the change was made we wiped only once more in phase 1. The rest of the time was work on phase 2 and our brain group showing massive improvements with every attempt. After one or two attempts in phase 2 we were seeing 43 sec + of brain damage which allowed the top group tons of time to get crushers and corruptors under control. With 4 consecutive visits into phase 3 yielding 27%, 21%, 10%, and 11% wipes we knew it was only a mater of time. On our next attempt phase 1 and 2 went smoothly, but a untimely death of one of our tanks on adds in phase 3 resulted in a major pinch. With only 1 min on the enrage Yogg at 10% and our only tank sure to die shortly we put all dps on Yogg and prayed to the WoW gods. The result.....

An Alliance first Kill of Yogg on the Detheroc server with only 1 member standing, Gratz to Zarverde for being the only member who wasn't being asked to release their body to the grave yard.
